• 21. srpna – Karel Duba (* 29. září 1929) – český kytarista a hudební skladatel, zemřel při havárii autobusu v Mongolsku. Při této havárii zemřelo více českých zpěváků a muzikantů, což znamenalo zánik Orchestru Karla Duby.
