Good evening, just a few minutes ago I read your discussion with RPekař. I can´t simply believe that you have been interested in opera just for one year. Nevertheless, it is a fascinating world, starting with say Monteverdi and ending with „I don´t know whom“. You mentioned Turandot by Puccini. You certainly know his Manon Lescaut (also La Bohème or Tosca). And what about Verdi´s Don Carlos etc. or Mascagni´s Cavalleria rusticana. Or Dvořák´s Rusalka. And numerous other works by a huge number of composers, Italian, French, Russian, German or Austrian, even Czech ones (Czechs are a small nation, but they have a number of great composers). I personally am not so much interested in very modern works, so I don´t know how I could contribute to your research. Just another name, although he did not compose operas: Jan Dismas Zelenka. - Hello, thank you very much for your recommendatins! I am only opening that world, and most of works I have seen were those that played in Lviv Opera House - they have about 30 operas on stage, with good performances, but that's not enough! :-) I listened to Smetana today a little, I am sure I need to listen a full opera, as well as "Rusalka" and others. I am still "absorbing" "Turandot", so I need some time to get my soul free for new impressions :-) I only listened those Puccini's operas that are played in Ukraine, and I didn't even get to "Il Trittico", so I am currently limited to "Madama Buttefly", "Boheme", "Tosca" and "Turandot" that is played in Odessa Opera House. National Opera in Kyiv has parts of "Il Trittico", I have plans to get there when my workaholic friends there have some free time... Hopefully there will be visa-free relation with the EU this year so I'd finally get to Warsaw and Budapest, and, in future, Prague... EUvin (diskuse) 19. 4. 2017, 23:16 (CEST)

- Potřebujete-li s něčím poradit, využijte stránku Potřebuji pomoc nebo navštivte klub Wikipedie ve svém okolí; chcete-li navrhnout nějakou změnu, přidejte ji do diskuse Pod lípou.
- Potřebujete-li poradit s odbornými obory, tématy či články, podívejte se na seznam přispěvatelů (wikipedistů) dle oborů znalosti.
- Na diskusních stránkách se vždy podepisujte: stačí napsat 4 vlnovky

v liště nad editačním oknem. Naopak články se nepodepisují. - Opravdu se nebojte editovat. Když se Vám občas něco nepovede, jiní to spraví.
