On this page users can request, and bureaucrats can consider and carry out, the usurpation of usernames. This consists of renaming an existing account in order to permit another user to adopt the name.

The account you want to usurp should not have more than a few edits and should be inactive for a long period. In other cases please try to find agreement with the target account owner.

Your request should include:

1. The name you want to usurp: {{Wikipedista|newname}}
2. Your current username on this project (If you have some): {{Wikipedista|oldname}}
3. Link to your userpage on the project where you are most active.
4. Reason for renaming the account.
5. If you post a request when not logged in, please include a link to a confirmation edit on your home talkpage.

Hello! I'm Vlad on Romanian wiki (the WikiPedia I'm most active on) For SUL purposes I've already usurped old Vlad accounts on wikipedias like English, French also on Meta and Commons.
