Brit Heyworth Marling (narozena 7. srpna, 1982) je Americká herečka, scenáristka a filmová producentka. Poprvé získala pozornost dokumentem Boxeři a Baletky z roku 2004, později se stala hvězdou festivalu Sundance filmy projektu Fox Searchlight Sound of My Voice (2011), Jiná Země (2011) a The East (2013), ve kterých kromě scénáře zastala také hlavní role. Od roku 2016 běží na internetové televizi Netflix seriál The OA. Na všech jmenovaných filmech pracovala v autorské dvojici s režisérem Zalem Batmanglijem.

Brit Marling byla narozena v Chicago, Illinois[1] jako the daughter of property developer parents John and Heidi Marling.[2] She was named "Brit" after her Norwegian maternal great-grandmother.[3] She grew up in Winnetka, Illinois[4] and in Orlando, where she enrolled in the arts program at Dr. Phillips High School.[5] Marling was interested in acting, but her parents encouraged her to focus on academics.[6] She graduated from Georgetown University in 2005 with degrees in economics and studio art, and was her class valedictorian.[7][8]
