Historie
Deutsch: Schillingsfürst ist seit 1959 Stadt. Die Löwen stammen aus dem Wappen der Fürsten von Hohenlohe, dessen eine Linie sich nach dem Ort Schillingsfürst benennt und den Ort sehr geprägt hat. Schillingsfürst war seit 1553 Hauptsitz und Residenz der Grafen und späteren Fürsten von Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst und war wohl schon seit Ende des 13. Jahrhunderts in ihrem Besitz. Der fränkische Rechen steht für den alten Ort Frankenheim, der in dem einstigen Marktnamen Schillingsfürst-Frankenheim zum Ausdruck kam. Der fränkische Rechen stammt aus dem Wappen des Bistums Würzburg und weist auf das Kilianspatrozinium in Schillingsfürst hin.
