Anubias[editovat zdroj]
Hi, thank You for actual taxonomy. I reverted Your editation, section Zástupci is primary about czech names of plants, not a list of species. Regards Vojtěch Zavadil (diskuse) 6. 12. 2017, 09:29 (CET)
- Hi, I sincerely apologize for writing in English, but I don't speak Czech. Thank you for creating the article on the genus Anubias, it looks great! However, the section Zástupci indicates that A. lanceolata is a synonym of A. barteri var. nana. This is incorrect, it is a synonym of var. glabra. The English WP has articles on all species and varieties, which you can use as a basis should you wish to create more articles on these beautiful plants. Anubias have been favorites of mine since as a little kid I wrote an article on these plants for a local aquarium society (don't think any copy is still in existence any more :-). As an aside, I would be careful with using anything written by Karel Rataj as a source. He described many species, and made revisions of Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus, and Sagittaria, which all have been heavily criticized. The vast majority of his species have been reduced to synonyms, only a few still stand, and none of his subgenera/sections/whatever have received any recognition. One more suggestion. The article on the English WP also has a photo of var. nana in the taxobox, but a different one than the one used here. The one in this article is not obviously nana, it could be glabra, it's just not easy to see the size of the plant and the leaf-form seems to be a bit off. The one in the English version is nana without any doubt. Best regards Randykitty (diskuse) 6. 12. 2017, 09:52 (CET)
