Přidat témaDutch, Deutsch atd. mají pravděpodobně společný starogermánský původ ve slově, kterým starogermáni nazývali sami sebe. Přesnější překled než "německý", je tedy "lid", "lidé". – Tento nepodepsaný komentář přidal uživatel 84.42.206.230 (diskuse • příspěvky).

- Dutch neznamená v tomto případě "holandský", proto jsem odebral výraz "pensylvánská holandština" - viz en wiki:
