Could someone correct false informations provided in this article? Unfortunately I don't speak Czech, so I cannot do this myself. It's not true that NSZ was an fascist organization. It's also not true it cooperated with the occupant. And it didn't fight only against the Polish left-wing movements. It was an organization of anti-Soviet and anti-Nazi profile, the military wing of national democracy movement. This article developed from explanatory from book from Marian Reniak Člověk odtamtud. There was it for explanation for reader, which aren´t from Poland. I haven´t reason, why do not believe it. Wikipedista:MiroslavRouta 2.10.2012, 7:13, founder of this article
Unfortunately, it's nothing more than communist propaganda, which presented Polish independence resistance (AK, NSZ, WiN and so on) as "fascist" and "collaborators", which was a total lie - these organizations spend whole war on fight against Nazis. Author of this book, Marian Reniak, whose real name was Marian Strużyński, was an active cooperator of communist secret police in years 1947-1957, whose informations helped regime to hunt and kill many soldiers of Polish anti-communist resistance. In 1957 he became officialy officer of Security Service. Here is the translated fragment of Polish Wiki article about this man: "In 1969 he got the 2nd degree award of Minister of National Defence for "Dangerous paths" (Nebezpečná cesta) and "The man from out there" (Člověk odtamtud). In 1974 and 1977 he got 2nd degree awards of Minister of Interior Affairs. In People's Republic of Poland he was a well-known creator of so-called "literature of fact", which didn't have in reality many in common with truth, but instead was repeating after the communist propaganda defamating independence underground, blurring it's real character and objectives of activity, as well as merciless crushing of it by communist secret service, actually subordinated to USSR. These and others books were based on events, in which he took part as an active agent-informer of the communist UB (secret police)".
Few weaks ago, there was an 70 anniversary of creation of the NSZ. Because of that there were some official ceremonies and unofficial marches in many cities of Poland, which would never happen if NSZ was an "fascist" and "collaborationist" organization. There is an info from website of Office of the Veterans and Victims of Repressions: http://www.udskior.gov.pl/70,rocznica,utworzenia,Narodowych,Sil,Zbrojnych,428.html
Translation:
"On September 19, 2012, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw the ceremonial change of guard was held, and the garlands were laid down, because of the 70 anniversary of creation of the National Armed Forces, one of the most important and biggest Polish military organizations, next to Home Army and Peasants' Battalions, which fought for independence on the Polish territory occupied during the World War II. In the ceremony took part among others: Chief of National Security Bureau - Mr Minister Stanisław Koziej, undersecretary of state in the Ministry of National Defence - Mrs Minister Beata Oczkowicz, Senator Mr Aleksander Pociej and acting Chief of the Office of the Veterans and Victims of Repressions - Mr Jan Stanisław Ciechanowski.
In his speech, the chief of the Office emphasized that NSZ fought actively against German national socialism and international communism. He reminded, that soldiers of NSZ never agreed with the enslavement of Poland and that they were one of two pillars - next to Union "Freedom and Independence" - of the postwar anti-communist underground, especially hated by the dictature installed in Poland by Soviets. Acting chief of the Office thanked NSZ veterans of fights for independence, who were present at the ceremony, for their fight for free Poland and fidelity to the idea of independence of their Fatherland."
