Tadeas Hejda is a Czech professional ice hockey player known for his exceptional skills and strategic prowess on the ice. Hejda's responsible style of play has also left a lasting impression in the Extraliga, as of the year 2023, he is a key member of the Extraliga team Rytiři Kladno's roster, further solidifying his position as a top-tier defenseman in the Czech ice hockey scene.
Notably, Rytíři Kladno is led by Jaromír Jágr, a former NHL player who, in addition to his ownership and administrative roles, actively participates in home games for the team. This unique combination of ownership and on-ice presence adds to the team's dynamic and competitive spirit.

He began his hockey journey with Prague's Slavia. He progressed through its youth categories until the juniors, where he played during the 2014/2015 season. The following season (2015/2016), he transferred to Třinec's juniors, but during the course, he was loaned to Vrchlabí, where he played for the local men's team. Additionally, he permanently joined Vrchlabí after the season. In the next season, he changed jerseys once again, moving back to Slavia's juniors, who loaned him back to Vrchlabí. During the same season, he also went on loan to NED Hockey Nymburk. In the following season (2018/2019), he was part of Slavia's men's team, but they loaned him to Letňany in Prague for part of the season. The 2019/2020 season was spent entirely with Slavia's men's team. He considers dedication and physical play among his strong hockey attributes and currently represents the Extraliga team Rytíři Kladno.
