The Victoria hoax - she is not a descendant of Queen Victoria

The claim by herself that she is a descendant of Queen Victoria is a hoax. Royalty expert Marlene A. Eilers is the author of the books Queen Victoria's Descendants and Queen Victoria's Descendants: A Companion Volume, and states[1] that the claim is "bull dinkies". She is actually the daughter of Swedish commoner Ingvar Engström, who late in life adopted the name "de Forest" and claimed to the out of wedlock son of one Maurice de Forest, who was in turn claimed (a claim dismissed by experts) to be a descendant of Victoria.
