Shaula je formální název hvězdy Lamba ve souhvězdí Škorpióna. Také se označuje λ Scorpii nebo Lambda Sco, λ Sco. Je to druhá nejjasnější hvězda v souhvězdí Škorpióna.ä

Název

Jméno Shaula pochází z arabského الشولاء al-šawlā´ významem 'zvednutý ocas' lze nalézt v ocase Škorpióna. V roce 2016 mezinárodní astronimický svaz schůzi ke jménám hvězd. (WGSN) s cílem standardizovad jména hvězd.První WGSN seznam zahrnuje tabulku prvních dvou skupin jmén podle WGSN, které zahrnuje Shaula pro hvězdu λ Škorpina Aa.
