English: The Mediterranean Sea (Mar. 28, 2003) -- A C-2A Greyhound attached to the 'Rawhides' of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Forty (VRC-40) taxies to one of four steam powered catapults to launch on its next mission. The ‘Rawhides’ are part of Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) and embarked aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
