English: Old prussian barracks in Ozyorsk (Darkehmen)
Deutsch: Am 1. April 1890 zog das II. Bataillon des Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 59 in Darkehmen ein, und wurde zunächst in Bürgerquartieren und einer Fabrik untergebracht. Eine Kaserne für das Bataillon wurde 1892 fertiggestellt. Am 1. April 1902 wurde das II. Bataillon des Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 59 nach Soldau verlegt, dafür kam das I. Bataillon des Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 45, vorher in Lötzen stationiert. Diese Einheit verblieb bis 1914 in Darkehmen.
