PopisShanks's table of primes just below 20000 and their decimal periods.png
English: William Shanks's last part of table of primes just below 20000 and their decimal periods. In the top row, 6952 should be 6592, since the period must divide p minus 1. I don't know whether Shanks ever noticed and reported this digits transposition, but he reported in his next paper that the 1984 in the same column should be 64.
