Hello Flakelace, I have hope that I might reach you and you will be interested in this message at least a bit :).

I am part of the Wikipedian community for quite a while now, although I am not that much contributing to english version, I am here occasionally too. Nevertheless my limited knowledge of the situation here is navigating me to you and few others, for You are among the finest Wikipedian in this lang version of Wikipedia contributing form Czech Republic (Please forgive me, if I am mistaken) I know.

I would like to outreach from czech wiki to other language versions. As you already probably know: The Wikimedia chapters are orginised on the regional basis. That means that our chapter should be serving and asisting wikipedians working in english as much as to those workin in cs Wikipedia. Nevertheless as of now, al members of our chapter are just prolific and diligent in work on the czech version and we do not have anyone who would represent the interest of contributors to english Wikipedia.

Essentially, the CS Chapter really was imprortant in the beggining for cs Wiki, there was no other body to represent or speak for CS Wikipedia for the public, but right now, I believe, we are beyond this point and we would like to focus on to as many project as posible.

Wikimedia Chapter is splendid place to help each othrs across projects in goals which we have in common.

In fact there are many ways how we can help, let start just with the obvious, we have projects (and manny from grants) to take photographs of the czech topics in systematic manners. The images in commons are taken not just by cs users, so why only cs users would benefit from the grants? There is copymachine for Wikisource and more. That was just a teaser.

Please remember that You are most welcome to participate on any level of association, you will like.

You may be willing to become one of our members and vote on the board and help run the chapter and bring new visions to whole lot of projects.

You may vision for new awesome project and would like to apply for new specific grant - you may apply to the CS Chapter. (This should be possible from this year)

You may be interested just to participate in one of existing particular grants.

Or you may be just interested to see some interesting souls :). You are most welcome !!!

Please note that my knowledge of the community in en wikipedia and contributors from Czech Republic in it is quite limited, please repost this message to anyone, whom you thing might be interested in this offer, whom I omitted. It would be splendid
