Popis

Coat of arms of Mânzălești, Romania (from ro.wiki: Stema comunei Mânzăleşti se compune dintr-un scut retezat. În câmpul superior, de azur, pe o terasă verde, o stâncă din argint (tuf vulcanic) cu cruce. În câmpul inferior, roşu, se află o biserică de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală din argint, cu un turn, care atestă faptul că aşezarea este comună.

Azurul este imaginea purităţii cerului, dar şi al cinstei şi perseverenţei. Argintul este simbolul vigilenţei şi al blândeţii. Aurul este prin excelenţă asociat cu bogăţia, dar şi cu generozitatea şi nobleţea de caracter a oamenilor. Roşul este simbolul curajului şi al vitejiei de care au dat dovadă locuitorii comunei Mânzăleşti în războiul de independenţă şi în cele două războaie mondiale. Tuful vulcanic, dominat de cruce, este monument al naturii ocrotit prin lege. Imaginea bisericii este legată de numărul mare de lăcaşe de cult din zonă.)

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
