English: The Polish Air Force in Britain, 1940-1947
Wing Commander Stanisław Skalski, leader of No. 133 (Polish) Wing, in the cockpit of his North American Mustang with No. 315 Polish Fighter Squadron markings at Ford, Sussex. Skalski was the most successful Polish fighter pilot of the war, having shot down 22 and 1/2 enemy aircraft by 1945.
