Hongkong má vůbec nejvíce mrakodrapů ze všech měst světa. Ve městě se nachází 482[1] budov vyšších než 150 m. Důvodem ke stavbě tolika mrakodrapů je vysoká hustota zalidnění; na jednom čtverečním kilometru zde žije téměř 7000 obyvatel.[2] Nejvyšší budovou Hongkongu je International Commerce Centre (ICC), měří 484 metrů a má 112 podlaží. Druhou nejvyšší budova je Two International Finance Centre, která měří 416 metrů.[1]
