Forgive my writing in English, but I don't know Czech. Surely the article should include the facts that she was born Lagusová into a Jewish intellectual family; that her maternal grandfather was a university professor and rector of Masaryk University in Brno and was murdered by the Nazis; that her father and his family were taken to a concentration camp, from which he came back at the end of the war but the rest of his family died; that under communism her family was considered intelligentsia and went through hard times (e.g., her sister could not go to the gymnasium although she had the best marks); and that at the end of the 1950s her mother was put on trial and killed herself.
