Biography

Juda S. Engelmayer, runs his own public relations firm, HeraldPR, where he leverages his government and corporate experience to build his team's expertise. He comes to the firm with significant experience in media, communications, crisis communications, public relations, non profits and government. He served as the American Jewish Congress’ Chief Communications Officer where he established himself as key to building the stature of the 86 year old agency. He rebuilt its website, introduced it to blogging and viral marketing and raised the status of the organization using a combination of media and Internet based marketing strategies.

Formerly, he was a VP at Rubenstein Associates, a New York based PR firm, where he handled accounts spanning Rockefeller Center, foreign governments, Internet businesses and public companies, entertainment, Jewish non profits and health care and medical research clients. In the seven years preceding that, Juda served as an executive assistant and assistant press secretary to H. Carl McCall, the New York State Comptroller, where he also worked on prompt contracting and granting issues for state funded non profits, and he was part of the campaign process that saw the first ever NY Statewide elected African American elected two times. Juda also has business experience, and was the owner of a bit of New York’s Jewish history, Kossar’s Bialy Bakery on the Lower East Side from 1998 until 2013.

When he is not doing that, he is found editing wiki entries and, sometimes, disagreeing with Wiki editors.
