Deutsch: Das Wappen ist in verschiedene Bereiche zu unterteilen, wobei jeder eine eigene Bedeutung hat: Die Mauerkrone weist auf die Stadtmauer hin. Die auf dem Dreiberg wachsenden drei Lilien stehen für die drei Geschwister Simplizius, Faustinus und Beatrix, die drei Schutzpatrone der Stadt. Der rote Untergrund bedeutet, dass sie den Märtyrertod starben. Da die Stadt ihre Entstehung dem Kloster Fulda verdankt, ist das Abtkreuz hell hinterlegt. |
