Dear Mr. Zacatecnik, thank you very much for improving the new entry "Johann Radon"! Since Johann Radon was my highly esteemed teacher of Mathematics 60 years ago, I have been trying to improve the Wikipedia biographies of Johann Radon in German, English and French. But I could not do anything about the Czech link since I do not speak Czech.

Now I asked my grandson (who speaks Czech, but never learned it in school) to start a new entry in the Czech Wikipedia, and he did.

Hello again. From all I know, Radon was born in Tetschen, and the name of the city was changed to Decin much later. This is why I changed Decin to Tetschen. This may be a delicate political question. On the other hand, clicking on Tetschen leads directly to Decin, so no confusion should result.

A more correct way would be to write (like in the German and English versions): born in Tetschen (Austro-Hungary), now Decin (Czech Republic). But since I do not write Czech, I cannot do it. Greetings HPaul 13:59, 2. 12. 2007 (UTC)
